Penderyn Square, Merthyr Tydfil The Penderyn Square Project involved the creation of a new Event and Public Realm Space to the front of the Redhouse Old Town Hall, Merthyr Tydfil. The scheme, delivered on behalf of Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council, forms part of the wider £24.2 million investment to transform Merthyr Tydfil Town Centre. Funded through the Heads of the Valley Programme, Targeted Match Funding and ERDF, the Town Centre Regeneration Programme aims to maximise access to the Town Centre whilst developing a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.
