OSU was known as one of the best western colleges in 2011 and the highest rated veterinarian college in the United States. OSU’s cowboys/cowgirls are very proud of their athletic heritage, which includes 50 national championships and first in the Big 12 Conference. During the 2006-2007 academic years, OSU’s athletic squads reached the top 10 in 10 different sports.
