CASE STUDY Northern California: Hydro-SCADA The Yuba County Water Agency (YCWA) needed to upgrade an un- supportable hydrologic supervisory, control, and data-acquisition (hydro- SCADA) system. The monitoring network consisted of several repeater stations, and 16 hydrology stations providing real-time measurements at four dams, multiple rivers and streams, and several irrigation ditches and pen- stock pipelines. Various combinations of water level, flow, and temperature are measured at these locations.
