PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Built in 1974, years of heavy traffic on the Route 31 Bridge that goes over Route 295 became cracked, spalled and deteriorated. Nagi, Inc. used an air chisel to remove damaged concrete around the existing rebar, which varied from 3” to 10” deep, before installing 90-degree rebar to hold new wire mesh above the existing rebar for added reinforcement. QUIKRETE ® Rapid Road Repair – Extended was applied to complete the bridge repairs. QUIKRETE ® Rapid Road Repair – Extended is a fast-setting material specifically designed for use as a full-depth repair material on bridge decks, concrete highways and other industrial structures. Made from specially-formulated fast setting cements, graded fine and coarse aggregates QUIKRETE ® Rapid Road Repair - Extended
