Location: Downtown Houston, Texas Situation: This 32-story commercial skyscraper’s roof drain pipes would leak into the Houston Tunnel System below the building after it would rain. The cast iron main is more than 80 years old and are located below the lobby’s marble floor and the floors of other businesses. Destruction was not preferred. Solution: Nu Flow used existing access points to pull our protective structural liner into place. This did not cause any destruction to the building, which prevented the closure of any offices or part of the Houston Tunnel System.
