CBRE Iberia transformed a large Madrid office complex into a smart, energy-efficient environment using the Niagara Framework-based BMS platform. With 8 buildings and 6,000 daily occupants, CBRE implemented advanced integration across HVAC, lighting, security, and energy systems. Facing rising energy costs, they prioritized predictive maintenance, occupant comfort, and energy savings—achieving ~10% annual energy reduction and 845 tons of CO₂ savings. The system enabled centralized, real-time monitoring, enhanced service response times, cybersecurity, and ESG reporting. Smart features like mobile access, alarm management, and data interoperability further boosted efficiency, staff productivity, and sustainability.
