This mixed use 6-storey development (including basement) comprises a total of 93 one, two and three bedroom fl ats, of which 28 are affordable, plus 1,400sq.m of commercial space split between (B1) offi ces, (A1) retail use and basement car park. EHW were appointed in 2013 as Design & Build architects through the client, James Taylor Developments, to their contracting wing of James Taylor Construction. The project construction value is circa £17m, start on site in early February 2014 and completion anticipated around September 2015. The construction is a mix of in-situ reinforced concrete and timber frame with facing brickwork and rainscreen cladding elevations.
