Case Study Nettlecombe Court Refurbishment of a Grade I Elizabethan House owned by the Field Studies Council. Nettlecombe court is a Grade I listed Elizabethan House, on the site of an earlier medieval house, with significant additions in the 1700s and late 18 th and 19 th century modifications. It is property of the Field Studies Council housing a residential field studies centre for the Exmore National Park. It is historically significant decorative plasterwork from 5 different periods. Ellis and Co refurbished the interior of the property including the removal of artex decorated and false ceilings, modern partition walls for the reinstatement of original rooms. We repaired plasterwork ceilings, and replastered and redecorated walls. Joinery works included repairs
