Project Page: Neighbourhood (N) 2 Sengkang Central HDB Blocks Neighbourhood (N) 2 Sengkang Central HDB Blocks The first batch of HDB (Govt pubic housing) blocks link up by a common basement carpark. The Singapore Housing Development Board had never built any basement to their public housing in the past. However, as land is getting less and people are getting higher expectation of the standard of their housing to get close to private condominium, thus the Govt is building the first common basement carpark in this project to test the receptiveness. Since tenants moved in til today, this cluster of HDB blocks with a common basement is proven to be the hot places for second hand selling. Also, it triggers HDB starts to build more public housing by copying this design. Completion Date: Dec 31
