CASE STUDY Legnano Teknoelectric Company Middle East, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a leading company in processing electrical steel to produce magnetic cores for electric transformers, with four production plants in Italy and one in Dubai. A LARGER, MORE EFFICIENT WORKSPACE LTC ME's newly erected factory in Dubai had to be equipped with several overhead cranes of various lifting capacities to assist in LTC ME's production process. The production facility spreads over 13 000 sqm and is separated into four bays. From the arrival of new material, to the assembly of magnetic cores, to the packaging and dispatch of the finished goods, all processes rely heavily on lifting and moving operations.
