Mponeng Gold Mine – Level 113 Cross Cut 35
The Mponeng gold mine is mined to an average depth of 4000m/2.5 miles below surface, making it the world's deepest mine. The mine, owned by AngloGold, produces up to 21 tons of gold each year, making it also one of the richest mines in the world. Instead of using flanges to connect the service water lines, AngloGold Ashanti decided to reap the benefits of installing Victaulic products in the branch off lines from level 113 to cross cut 35. Us
