Morpeth Road Primary rst contacted us in 2012 wanting an exciting play area at the front of their school. Due to the play area being close to the road, we suggested creating an attractive play space to help entice parents into bringing their children to Morpeth Road Primary. We were given a very detailed brief, and were told by the school that they wanted to utilise gross motor skills, high level play & upper body strength within the new play area. To achieve this our design team created a large bespoke climbing boat that included a ramp, portholes, net & climbing wall. We added in a crows nest to give the children an area to climb up to and survey their surroundings, as well as an adventure trail to ensure the children were provided with the maximum amount of exercise & fun during outdoo
