Monsido, a web governance provider under CivicPlus, implemented Thales CipherTrust Data Security Platform as-a-Service to ensure GDPR compliance and digital sovereignty for its EU customers. Operating on Google Cloud, Monsido needed external encryption key control per Danish Data Protection Agency guidance. Thales’ CipherTrust Cloud Key Management enabled Monsido to hold keys outside Google’s infrastructure, automate key lifecycles, and ensure compliance with Schrems II. The cloud-based solution required no hardware, integrated seamlessly, and offered high availability. It provided peace of mind for clients while supporting Monsido’s cloud-first strategy and regulatory commitments.
