The Moab Khotsong Gold Mine located in Stilfontein, South Africa recently installed a 500 metre long compressed air system that services the lower levels of the mine. As a vertical pipeline, the design team was confronted with a number of challenges, including space and weight limitations, while trying to meet a very tight construction timeline. To remedy these challenges, AngloGold chose the Victaulic grooved system to join the pipeline
