Mining Communications Upgrade of Tait P25 Digital System admin Cadia Valley Mine Upgrade of Existing Tait P25 Digital System for above and below ground communications. RFI, working with our customer, Illawarra Communications, assisted in upgrading the existing Tait P25 Digital System. This communications system proved to be pivotal in the new developments in above and below ground communications. The upgraded communications system deployed incorporated eight new channels and the change of four old legacy channels to P25 utilising the Tait TB9100 Base.RFI supplied the antennas, Bi-Directional Ampli?ers (BDA) and the multicoupling and backwards compatibility with the existing Tait TB9100 repeater base station.
