Peter Brett (PBA) | Marriott Hotel Grovesnor Square, London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, London PBA is working on the refurbishment of this five star, six-storey hotel in the West End of London which is planned in stages to enable the hotel's continued operation during the works. The building is a 1960s RC framed structure with clear spans at ground floor of 22m over the grand ballroom formed by fivestorey high vierendeel walls and long span precast bridge beams. Specific areas of the building we modified included conversion of the basement car park, creating meeting rooms, office space and fitness suite. A feature staircase required new slab openings. The Maze grill restaurant was refurbished with private dinning rooms created, new staircase slab holes and trimmers and new plant rooms
