One of the largest U.S. health plans faced inefficiencies in open enrollment processing due to the heavy volume of semi- and unstructured documents. Conduent introduced an intelligent document processing platform integrating machine learning, OCR, ICR, and ADR technologies to automate workflows and improve straight-through processing. This innovation significantly increased speed and reduced reliance on manual entry. As a result, overall processing accelerated 15-fold, from 6 to 90 transactions per hour, while staff training time dropped from six weeks to just two, driving major efficiency gains and cost reductions for the client.
