Longton Tennis Club An attractive new timber built pavilion has made an enormous difference to Longton Tennis Club and its 120 members. The new facility has been decorated and protected from the elements with a premium wood protection system supplied free of charge to the club by Sadolin, the woodcare specialists, and the structure was purchased with the help of a grant from recycling and waste management company SITA. Committee member Chris Rodd says: “This club has somehow managed to keep going without any accommodation of its own for over fifteen years. Our members have had nowhere to meet, get changed, store belongings, and nowhere to take shelter in bad weather. Now we have this super new ‘log-cabin style’ building that we can call our own.
