The existing Primary School was re- built incorporating a Fire Station, multipurpose Community Hall, Nursery School and a flood-lit sports pitch. OUR APPROACH NIFES was appointed under the Highland Council Consultancy Framework to provide sustainable Building Services solutions, including: Natural ventilation Wood pellet fuelled heating Rainwater re-cycling Solar water heating, and “Sun-Pipe” natural lighting An Energy Options Appraisal was carried out to select the ideal low-carbon fuels and the biomass fuelle
