Little Colorado River Bridge
US 89 - Little Colorado River Bridge Cameron, Arizona This project consisted of installing 24 shafts during 2 phases, utilizing permanent steel casing and polymer slurry drilling techniques. Shaft diameters were 6’ and 7’ and up to 60’ deep and the water table was approximately 15’ below working grade. Casings were installed through approximately 35’ of “molten” sand and then screwed into the underlying sandstone formation. Rock sock
