LINKING GROUND AND SPACE SYSTEMS TO AUTONOMOUSLY ASSESS WILDFIRES
The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation is an American foundation established by Intel co- founder Gordon E. Moore and his wife Betty I. Moore in September 2000 to support scientific discovery, environmental conservation, patient care improvements and preservation of the character of the Bay Area. The Moore Foundation provided a grant to leverage advances in remote sensing, artificial intelligence, real-time modeling, and cloud computing technologies to support dynamic and analytic wildfire risk mapping and response. Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Moraga-Orinda Fire District (MOFD) provides fire protection, rescue, and emergency medical services in the communities of Moraga and Orinda and the surround- ing unincorporated areas. The District responds to over 3,000
