Las Cruces Convention Center Las Cruces, New Mexico HNTB provided site selection analysis and concept design services in association with KPMG for a new multi-purpose center in Las Cruces. Once the preferred site was identified, additional due diligence pre-design studies were undertaken relative to related development, city and university master plans, expansion scenarios, specific site development strategies and building programming. The site ultimately selected is adjacent to a university-sponsored development project for a new 185-room hotel that will support the new convention center. HNTB was then commissioned to provide full architectural design and structural engineering services for a facility that includes 25,000-SF of exhibit space and 6,000-SF of ballroom and meeting space.
