Be ?fore their com?ple?tion, an ex?tremely la?bor?i?ous in?su?la?tion pro ?cess took place in?side the ships’ hulls. Even ?tu?ally the de?ploy ?ment of Openair® plasma tech ?no?logy made an es ?sen ?tial con?tri?bu?tion for com?plet?ing the hulls’ in?su?la?tion layer to ?ward a suc ?cess?ful real ?iz?a ?tion of the over ?all pro ?ject. To in ?su?late the tankers, a new in ?su?la?tion tech ?nique was to be em?ployed that would provide an in ?crease of the tanker's hold?ing ca?pa?city by 80
