The tank had outlet flow -rate requirements of 10,500m3 p/hr; through a 1200NB orifice. We successfully designed, fabricated and installed an anti -vortex outlet with both internal water straightening baffles and a vortex plate to give maximum hydraulic efficiency. Amidst the dusty and dry conditions our crew were able to complete the tank construction within 6 days.
