Keswick Water Pollution Control Plant required expan- sion in 2013 to handle the increased demands from population growth in the Greater Toronto Area. The plant expansion included construction of a new efflu- ent outfall into Lake Simcoe. A microtunnel boring ma- chine excavated a major section of the outfall sewer.
