John Peel Centre, Stowmarket, Suffolk Room Darkening Roller and Cellular Blinds Working closely with the Main Contractors, Hutton Construction, and liaising closely with the Project Architect, we installed here a quantity of our manually operated RL21C heavy duty fully framed room darkening blinds, together with a large quantity of our PLE motorised cellular roof blinds. The difficult to reach roof blinds were driven by low voltage SOMFY RTS motors off a series of transformers, and operated by hand held remote controls. The fabric chosen for the roof blinds was a flame retardant cellular opaque Natural Cream, which offered a high level of insulation below the Georgian wired glazing, as well as effective dim-out.
