Case Study
Isle of Wight
The Problem The property had suffered from a landslip which caused large amounts of the superficial soils within the garden to slip and slump down the garden, and extending into the neighbour’s garden. The conclusion was, that the slip was a retrogressive series of failures which had ultimately led to the ground immediately adjacent to the top of the property failing. The problem was further compound by access issues, and the fact that there was no access to the garden from the front of the property on Baring Road for any machinery or equipment. The only possible access was via the neighbour’s property on the T rinity Church Lane (the road below) The Solution Prior to commencing the works, an agreement was reached with the neighbour on Trinity Road below allowing us to use their garden
