With 208,000 students in more than 200 schools, Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) in central Florida is the 9th largest school district in the country. The district’s size has not stopped it from leading the way for schools across the nation in implementing a 1:1 program. The goal: to turn every school into a digital-curriculum school, equipping students from kindergarten to high school with their own school-issued laptops. Physical textbooks, lockers, and paper tests will be a thing of the past, as students move toward only participating in content that is delivered online.
