To revitalise Ilford's main shopping mall, The Exchange, an extensive refurbishment was commissioned for many of the main areas. The focal feature of this grand refurbishment was an imaginative piece of design from Studio Fractal. By specifying Kemps' RGB LED colour changing system, Studio Fractal created a colourful waterfall that appeared to 'ow' between the escalators. This captivating movement was created using 52 x 25mm thick etched Acrylic panels which were installed between the escalators to provide a wave eect. Each panel had a length of Kemps' Tri Chip RGB along the base which we programmed to Studio Fractal's scene board to be controlled by the Mode Colourstyle system using DMX protocol.
