The background People with reduced mobility face numerous hurdles on their way from A to B using public transportation. One of the problems is that they don’t know what the train station looks like at the moment: whether there are stairs or steep ramps to pass, construction work or other hurdles that might complicate the journey, especially when leaving the platform or the station itself. The lack of this information leads to inflexibility and dependence. We want to solve this problem by crowdsourcing photos of all such railway entrances and other hurdles. To date, SBB only provides textual information (e.g. that there is a ramp or an elevator).
