Hydrodemolition
Hydrodemolition Case Study Beam Profiling - Wellington When Fletcher Construction’s Dave Gilmour had an unusual hydrodemolition problem, he called on Aquamax. He was faced with profiling some significant structural concrete in a high profile Wellington office tower. The work needed to be done during office hours with the building fully occupied. Conventional mechanical methods were out of the question due to the noise, dust and possible damage to the beams and re-bar. Hydrodemolition was the right process but could it be done within noise and practical constraints around runoff? Aquamax responded with the solution to make it happen. We selected one of our low flow rate pumps - ideal for the sensitive nature of the job. We deployed an electric, low noise unit pe
