Background Hopton Park Industrial Estate is a light industrial estate situated on the outskirts of Devizes, Wiltshire. When its owners required a new industrial access road to provide access to brownfield development land, they appointed Cole Easdon Consultants (CEC) to provide a detailed design for the new road. At the same time, CEC identified and project managed remedial works to existing access roads and drainage within the estate, allowing all access roads and sewers to be adopted by the highway and water authorities subsequently.
