The Hilton Head Public Service District supplies water to over 19,000 customers in the north and mid-island areas and maintains over 220 miles of water mains. Average daily demand is 6MGD, with peak delivery of 11MGD in the summer months. Hilton Head’s Public Service District invited Utilis to test our satellite leak detection technology on their system. Leak detection teams analyzed 24.94 KM (15.5 Miles) of network pipes and 79 points of interest (POIs) were checked in 10 days.
