Hilden Grange Prep School Cobsen-Davies (Southern) part of Avonside’s Commercial & Industrial Division working with BAM Construction have carried out the roofing on a mixed project showcasing the best in sustainability. All vertical, pitched and flat areas to the buildings were insulated. The roofing consisted of Brash Cedar Shingles together with Bauder wild flower carpet roof garden system. The school was open throughout the build so Health and Safety and good segregation were paramount. The building was designed to achieve a low carbon footprint, the use of timber throughout the build helped this happen and it gave the building the look that the facade was wrapping over to the roof.
