PROJECT PROFILE The Highland No. 2 Reservoir is lo- cated in the City of Pittsburgh, Pennsyl- vania, on top of a hill overlooking the Pittsburgh Zoo. The reservoir was con- structed in the late 1800s by a combina- tion of excavation and construction of perimeter earthen embankments.
