We were approached by Christine Rolfe in the Autumn of 2011, she has a beautiful new school building that was crying out for an equally stunning play space. Across the tarmac playground was a large expanse of grass, unfortunately the ground was poor, with rubble close to the surface and the grass was having diculty growing. Christine was sure this was the ideal situation for the play area so we set about designing her an outdoor play space. She outlined her brief specication; it had to have a natural feel & be used all year round. The designer got straight into it and with very little revisions required the play area design was soon agreed on.
