GTS Customizes Suite of Batteries for San Antonio The Challenge San Antonio is home to over 4,000 police officers, fire fighters, and emergency medical support personnel who rely on Harris radios in order to communicate. According to Sgt. Gabe Trevino of the San Antonio Police Department, users had significant issues with batteries after switching to Harris P7100 radios. Their batteries just lasted a few hours. The Solution As a solution, Global Technology Systems Inc. developed a customized full suite of batteries and chargers to meet San Antonio’s requirements for full shift operation of their critical communication devices.
