Grid-Tied Hybrid Power System Solar Power Installation for Alpha Technologies GmbH in Germany A worldwide provider of turn-key solar power system installations, Alpha commissioned a grid-tied photovoltaic system on the rooftop of its Schwabach warehouse facility in Germany as part of an effort to demonstrate Alpha’s own commitment to green practices. The south side of the warehouse roof includes 220, monocrystalline photovoltaic panels and the north side features 16 Thinfilm modules connected by six, 5-8kW inverters. Combined, both systems will generate a total of 40,500 kWh per year, which is roughly the amount required to power five homes.
