Case Study: Great Crested Newt Mitigation – Moreton- In-Marsh Great crested newt mitigation for Bovis Homes including temporary and semi-permanent newt fencing, pond creation, a wildlife scrape, 2 basking banks, 7 large hibernacula and the planting of native scrub. When Bovis homes acquired a new site at the Cotswold town of Moreton-in- Marsh, a large population of great crested newts was found. JPR were brought in to implement the mitigation strategy put forward by the Environmental Dimension Partnership (EDP).
