• The AWS cloud enabled the rapid delivery of the solution (just 6 weeks from contract to go-live) because server and storage provisioning takes just a few minutes • Computing resources had to be scalable with the expectation that the application will grow to handle approximately 700,000 pictures per year. • The images of the customer’s containers will be stored on Amazon S3 storage and the meta-data for the image will be stored in a mysql relational database called Amazon RDS. This provides our client's users with the optimal balance of cost and performance and helped to accelerate the application development.
