Illumio helped a global law firm stop a ransomware attack rapidly by enabling them to isolate the 12 compromised servers within seconds using Zero Trust Segmentation. The firm quickly created policies to "ring-fence" the infected machines, preventing the ransomware from moving laterally throughout the network. This immediate containment stopped data theft or encryption, avoided disruption to operations, and preserved client data and the firm’s reputation.
