Gervais School District Johnson Controls addressed deferred maintenance and aging building systems at Gervais School District’s elementary, middle and high schools in Gervais, Oregon. Upgrades, including the installation of intelligent LED lighting fixtures, building controls and an updated building envelope, have improved energy and operational efficiency, reduced associated costs and enhanced the environment for student learning and faculty performance. The improvements were enabled through an Energy Performance Contract (EPC), which helped Gervais School District use guaranteed savings to offset the cost of the upgrades.
