Case Study
German University Keyboard for psychology studies
Input Matters German University Keyboard for psychology studies & Walther Challenge The Faculty of Work and Organizational Psychology at a university in Northern Germany conducts research on leadership behavior and team interaction within meetings. To analyze the communication in these meetings, field and laboratory studies are conducted using a coding scheme that consists of 43 codes and classifies individual sense units of the team discussion (e.g., questions, problems, solutions, feedback, praise, etc.). Solution The individually colored and labeled keyboards MCI 84 from PrehKeyTec considerably simplify the work of the coders, as they can encode both the individual parts of the conversation as well as the person speaking. Cumbersome mouse-clicks can be avoided.
