Generali Poland, a global insurer, partnered with Yubico and the MCX Group to launch the innovative CyberRED cyber insurance policy in 2024. As Poland faced increased cyberattacks, Generali included a starter kit of ten YubiKey 5 NFC security keys with every CyberRED contract to reduce cyber risk. These YubiKeys provide phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication based on FIDO2 and FIDO U2F protocols. Even with just ten keys implemented, Generali Poland reported a reduction in the probability of negative cyber events by up to 50%, reinforcing cybersecurity best practices among its customers and promoting stronger risk management across enterprises in Poland.
