The Challenges Meyer & Meyer required an automated live storage solution. The system had to be capable of different material handling processes, including: • Goods receiving • Inspection • Quality control • Value added services • Bagging • Sorting • Dispatch of garments The required system performance needed to process 10,000 pieces per hour The design was required to accommodate planned growth for 1,400 points of sale worldwide. Our Solution The solution for the 883,000 square foot building includes several standard technologies: a Clip & Pin Conveyor, a Power-Rail-System (Ladder Conveyor), and manual slick rails in the system design.
