Peter Brett (PBA) | Galloper Wind Farm, Suffolk PBA is providing civil engineering design support to Galloper Wind Farm Limited, a joint venture between RWE npower renewables and Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE). Located 27 kilometres of the Suffolk Coast at its nearest point, Galloper Wind Farm will comprise 100 wind turbines potentially generating 350 megawatts, as an extension to the Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm. Galloper has the potential to supply hundreds of thousands of UK households with renewable energy. Our work is for the onshore substation element of the wind farm from where exported power is connected to the National Grid.
