Hydro’s proposed Site C Clean Energy project (a dam and hydroelectric generating station) would be 7 km in proximity to Fort St. John. To balance the interests of B.C. Hydro’s project and the Fort St. John community, the Council of Fort St. John consulted extensively with the community to protect and promote the community’s interests.
