Our role CHt was heavily involved in design development, spatial coordination of services and plant, as well as major plant installation logistics. CHt also undertook the installation of external services (water, HP gas, steam & condensate, HV /LV electrical systems) and the installation of multi services modules incorporating gantries/walkways/handrails at an early stage of the build process. The challenge The site location posed early challenges, with CHt developing a plan to avoid the requirement of moving the main oxygen storage tanks/pipework serving the entire hospital campus. These were located to the west of the site – and were of major concern to the client.
