Flying High PROJECT: Airport Pub and Grill LOCATION: Manchester PRODUCTS USED: Havwoods Bespoke The Airport pub and grill is sited just 50 feet away from Manchester Airport’s terminal 3 runway, making it about as close as you can get to a plane without boarding and a prime destination for aviation enthusiasts. Owners Robinsons Brewery commissioned a major refurbishment and now the pub is as unique as its location, with Spitfire armchairs and jet engine booths, vintage propeller parts and flying ducks dressed in pilot outfits, retro floral fabrics and a special order, heat treated herringbone floor, supplied unfinished for completion on site.
