FIRE SAFETY AT BULSTRODE
The ongoing internal refurbishment of Bulstrode House in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, has involved the expertise and manufacturing capability of Arkoni Metalwork. The historic house, which dates back to 1865, sits within landscaped grounds that were once the home of the infamous Judge Jeffreys, known as the ‘Hanging Judge’ who served as Lord Chancellor under King James II in the 17th Century. Now owned by Christian organisation WEC International, the house boasts a rich history involving many of the nation’s most prominent aristocrats and was used by the WAAF (Womens Air Auxiliary Force) during World War 2 as their training headquarters. Arkoni manufactured and installed a number of E30 fire-rated glazed screens and doors throughout the building. Andy Pool, a member of
